Sector 13

Sector 13, a 2000 AD fanzine that first appeared at the Enniskillen Comics Festival in 2017, celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Galaxy's Greatest Comic and has seen seven issues published to date.  What started as a 24 page zine, hastily put together by an unstructured bunch of enthusiasts, who all missed the dreadful spelling error on the front page, developed into a 120 page seventh issue with professional level writing and art.  More details here.

SPLANK!

Splank! is a hardcopy magazine printed on good quality stock featuring comic strips inspired by, or in the spirit of, the British comics of old.  It features a mixture of genres from humour to adventure and will hark back to my memories of the comics I read throughout my childhood.

Full Moon Comics

Fool Moon Comix is a new graphic adventure imprint which first emerged during the hippy revolution in 1970s America. Then it was a series of sporadic, very raw, “off colour” publications which were designed to offend and which would almost certainly be banned today.

Now, after a hiatus of almost fifty years it’s re-emerged in Northern Ireland as something slightly different. This time, it’s leaner, fitter and more story-orientated. And, of course, it boasts some very fine artists from various parts of the globe – Paul Malone, Scott Twells, Andy Paciorek, Joseph Parangue, Paddy Brown, Joakim Hagstrom and of course, the legendary W.D. McCrum. And there’s more to come!

Fool Moon’s producing a number of publications over the next six months – Weird Comix <two issues already out and still available>; Incredible Adventures; Hoodoo Comix and Sinister Tales. It’s also released the already sold out Joachim Darke – The Spaniards’ Bell <see what you’ve missed?> to name a few. What more could you ask for? So if you want top stories, top artwork and top adventure, then check out Fool Moon, available here. And always remember – the best is yet to be!
