Fool Moon Comix is a new graphic adventure imprint which first emerged during the hippy revolution in 1970s America. Then it was a series of sporadic, very raw, “off colour” publications which were designed to offend and which would almost certainly be banned today.
Now, after a hiatus of almost fifty years it’s re-emerged in Northern Ireland as something slightly different. This time, it’s leaner, fitter and more story-orientated. And, of course, it boasts some very fine artists from various parts of the globe – Paul Malone, Scott Twells, Andy Paciorek, Joseph Parangue, Paddy Brown, Joakim Hagstrom and of course, the legendary W.D. McCrum. And there’s more to come!
Fool Moon’s producing a number of publications over the next six months – Weird Comix <two issues already out and still available>; Incredible Adventures; Hoodoo Comix and Sinister Tales. It’s also released the already sold out Joachim Darke – The Spaniards’ Bell <see what you’ve missed?> to name a few. What more could you ask for? So if you want top stories, top artwork and top adventure, then check out Fool Moon, available here. And always remember – the best is yet to be!
